Silver Lure Sea Angling Club
Wednesday the 12/05/2010 19:00-21:00 Silver Lure SAC will be running angling skills nights at http://www.ralstoncommunitycouncil.org/#/community-centre/4537021776
This event is planned to discuss and develop some of the skills necessary to become a successful sea angler.
The first hour on Wednesday night will be looking at number of Sea Angling rigs and the species that can be targeted using them.
The Second hour will be for general angling skills ranging from tackle advice to species targeting.
Hope fully these Skills night will be run in conjunction with a series of angling meets designed to put these skills into practice.
All welcome

can you remind me what type of Kamasan or Sukuma hooks were the best for Smoothounds ?

| Robert, it might've been Mustad Vikings. Sakuma do a similar hook Atlantic. Better wait till Davie says if thats them though. |

Vikings would certainly be a good choice, they're strong sharp forged hooks with a wide enough gape for crab baits.

silver Mustads bend the KAMASAN is much stronger and sharper
